Laureline Chiapello

Student works
My students create bold, boundary-pushing projects in game design, level design, graphic design, worldbuilding, AR/VR, and concept art
Supervision
At the heart of my teaching and supervision is a commitment to learning through making. I work with students across levels — from undergraduate 3D production to graduate research-creation — to explore how game design can be both expressive and critical.
At the undergraduate level, I supervise 3D game projects that combine technical excellence with ambitious artistic direction. Many of these games have been recognized in industry competitions, including awards for visual quality and innovation.
In their research-creation projects, master students develop playable prototypes that engage with themes such as identity, grief, agency, and feminist perspectives. These projects often emerge from interdisciplinary collaborations and are presented in exhibitions, conferences, and festivals.
Whether you're a student, researcher, or practitioner, I invite you to explore these projects — and to imagine what we could build together.
